Currently, we offer levels A1 and A2 Levantine Arabic. However, starting in August, we will be launching our full curriculum, providing a wider range of levels for our students.
Accommodation is provided within our secure school building, which is equipped with CCTV monitoring. Rooms are shared, with a maximum of two people per room and only six people in the house. Additionally, there are three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and a chill-out zone for relaxation.
Prices will vary until our full curriculum launch in August with courses running on reduced rates until then. As Lebanon’s banking system will pose challenges for international transactions, we require a 50% deposit paid in advance upon booking, with the remaining 50% payable upon arrival in USD.
Despite stereotypes and misinformation, Lebanon remains a safe destination for tourists and travelers.
The Bekaa Valley is a safe travel destination and Deir Zanoun is a village of wonderful welcoming and curious people. Cultural values are expected to be respected at all times.
We advise bringing a starting sum of USD due to limited access to ATMs. Additionally, depending on the season, appropriate clothing is necessary as Bekaa can experience extreme temperatures. Please respect the local culture by wearing appropriate attire.
Before coming to Lebanon, please check your country’s visa and registration requirements. Visitors can stay for up to three months on a tourist visa, which does not require an extension. For detailed visa information, please visit the Lebanese General Security website or refer to http://www.living-lebanon.com/registration-and-visa-lebanon.html. If staying longer than three months, you must leave the country and re-enter. You can apply for a three-month single-entry visa or a six-month multiple-entry tourist visa at any Lebanese embassy. Processing may take a few months and costs approximately $50.
